"There’s no way to describe this play. You just have to see it. It’s not what you think it’s going to be, but nothing like this has been done, so there are no words for it."

The Bible Women's Project is a conversation starter that asks tough questions about how we portray women's stories in the church. It uses real life stories from young Christian women today alongside several stories of women in the Bible. This show features comedy, dance, drama, improv and storytelling to honor women's stories from the past and present. We do not shy away from difficult conversations, but ultimately we all celebrate the power of church and its role in our lives. We merely ask to listen to ways we can make things better for women going forward.

We did not know what to expect when we first opened the show in 2015. The response was overwhelmingly positive. After our very first performance, audiences were asking us to bring the show back and take it on tour. We immediately extended our run and then revived the show 6 months later. In 2016 we were accepted into the New York International Fringe Festival and spent two weeks performing at the SoHo Playhouse.

COVID-19 has impacted communities and families in so many profound ways.
The Bible Women's Project is dedicated to continuing to share our ministry through new and creative outlet.  If you are unable to host a live event, we can host virtual events where we hope to continue to foster community and growth while exploring the stories of women in the Bible.

Virtual Story Circle Training

Want to know how to do story circles in your community?

A training session (usually lasting 3-4 hours) is a great opportunity for pastors, leaders, teachers and more to train you to do what we have done.  Work directly with the writer/director of the show as she walks you through the process of story circles and how you can use them in your community even during this time of social distancing.  During this training you will receive tools you can immediately use in your community to foster engagement, growth and discipleship.
